The BEST Mother's Day Ever!!!

I've been thinking about how much I love my mother. She has always been so wonderful to all of her children. I appreciate her non-judgemental unconditional love. I am so lucky to have the kids I do, and I wish I'd had more of a brain in my head when I was a child and maybe I would have done something like this for her. I remember my Mom sometimes feeling sad and overwhelmed on Mother's day like she couldn't measure up to all that was expected of her. In reality she has performed miracles in my life and I am sure my siblings feel the same way. Thank you Mom!

I feel like the most blessed mother in the world today! I told my family that I didn't need any gifts for Mother's Day, because we didn't have the budget this month to spend on non-necessities. I would have been happy with just hugs and kisses and time spent together as a family. I must be doing something right because just look at what they did for me on Mother's Day. They burned them onto a DVD and gave them to me as my gift. Thanks to my darling Emilee for the idea, and to all my children and husband for the sweet thoughts. I will treasure this forever. It is the gift that keeps on giving! Turn off my music player and you'll hear what wonderful children call me Mom. Click on each of the hearts for a new video.

Kimberlee composed this little song on her guitar for me for Mother's Day. This is her playing "Mother's Love" on her guitar as the background music.

There are a lot of slides on this one so feel free to speed them along with the arrows. Some of these pictures are so old and I look a little scary in a few of them, but who cares, right? My kids love me anyway!

I have had absolutely the best day! To top it all off, I received a large Lindt dark chocolate bar from the priesthood at church. Yea!! The darker the better!
