Tonight we attended the most amazing musical production put on by our stake Relief Society and Young Womens organizations. The program was based on the Jenny Phillips song, Daughter of a King. There was a wonderful choir and orchestra made up of young women and Relief Society sisters. The spirit was so strong. I am happy that my girls choose to participate in things like this. Some of the choir numbers were One Prayer, Come Thou Fount, Sisters Rejoice, His Daughter, We Rejoice and Beautiful Savior. There were also solo numbers and duets. Besides strings, flutes, clarinets, piano, organ, and french horn there was also a fantastic harpist. Emilee (1st soprano) and Kimberlee (2nd soprano) were both in the choir. Emilee also did a recitation from memory of The Living Christ as part of the program. Here she is at home after the performance. Believe it or not she did even better at the program, she didn't have to peek at the words at all. I think the spirit probably had something to do with that. I am just so proud of her. Both Emilee and Kimberlee are turning into such lovely young ladies.

Wow! Wish I could've been at their performance. Awesome job.
I didn't know you had a blog! I will add you to my list. The girls were great on Sunday. Emilee was amazing doing "The Living Christ"! I am so glad they were able to experience all of it. I so wanted to go to Women's Conference, but Jim will be gone 3 weekends this month for scouting. We just couldn't do it this year.
