Remember this?....

A few years ago my Mom and Dad volunteered to watch all of the grandchildren on New Years Eve so that we could have an adult siblings/spouses party. It was so fun to be able to just spend time talking, laughing and playing games together without the kids. To top it all off, it was Mom's birthday, and she was celebrating New Years and her birthday with all the children. What a saint!

That New Years Eve we had a beautiful snow fall with some of the biggest flakes I'd ever seen. So we decided to run out and get a picture in the snow. The picture doesn't do them justice, but it was the perfect snowy evening; not too cold, huge flakes, and no wind. It was so peaceful and quiet, except for all of our giggling and horseplay. Thanks Mom, for putting this picture on the CD that you burned for us. What a great memory! Sad to say, that I just noticed that my Steve wasn't there with us. I guess by now I am used to vacationing on my own with the kids since Steve rarely has vacation time. I sure wish he could have been there. It was a blast!

I loved looking through those pictures too. Haven't got through all of them though.
